To those who live in the digital world Think fewer not more. Too many are Too quick to jump on. To dispirit this and Cast down that. To venerate them and Revere those. Led to think you are free. Only to sanctify the histrionics of the impotent.

No need to have men in uniforms when you can create uniform fear.

An all too common discussion (maybe diatribe is a better word) I hear is that the problem with news media is it’s biased. Many people act as if partisan subjectivity is a recent phenomenon. To those I’d suggest reading “The Twilight of Objectivity” by Michael Kinsley for some historical context.
The next time you read or watch the news ask yourself who wrote it, a journalist, a reporter, or a stenographer? The problem arises when a person doing one of those jobs thinks, or tries to convince others, he/she is doing one of the other jobs. The current state of media isn’t due to bias as much as it is too many people trying to be something they aren’t.

You smile words that are Boorish, ostentatious, and whimsical To explain it all away. Your desire to sanitize through language Is ineffectual and unmanageable. I see through your malefic designs. Words do not make one saintly. The beatific are incorporeal.

We spend our time at various jobs to make money in order to spend our time somewhere else. We spend time doing one thing so that we can spend time doing something else.
Individuals and institutions scheme and scramble for our time. They plot and present a wide variety of distractions designed to develop a desire for the novel and a need to conform.
